About This Workshop

What happened

The students worked in teams of three, and each team built its own robot: twelve students, four robots.

In Tel Aviv, the students went straight from building to coding. After assembling and connecting their arms, the teams used the SamaraBot Control app to write their own commands and to save teach points, the positions a robot remembers and returns to.

Then they raised the challenge: each team combined its teach points with the IR sensor to build a full sorting routine. The students taught their robots what to do, and the robots carried out the whole automation by themselves.

It is the same workflow real industrial arms use, from homing and teaching positions to running a complete sequence, and these young makers learned it hands-on.
